Rutherford College

This is the College for this week.

There is a big Dining Hall where the English Breakfast is served, but as for me, I found a little bit difficult to eat it, at 8am because the smell of fat puts me off and I think that is not really tasty. One day, I will try  one out for you  in a pub, not at University!

Ma chambre fait environ 12m², mes valises ne sont pas encore déballées vu que samedi 10h tapante on doit avoir vidé la chambre. Donc on ne peut pas dire que je me sente vraiment encore chez moi.

Les gens sont assez sympa, des affinités ont commencé à voir le jour, mais pas encore suffisamment d'anglais pour pouvoir vraiment parler. Les francophones ont sorti leur radar "Français, Français, Français", pour se sentir un peu plus en sécurité. Donc nous formons la communauté francophone de Canterbury qui se trouvent être en nombre par rapport aux autres nationalités. Diner servit à 6.00PM: euh.... un peu tôt là les enfants hein!

English courses for Exchange Students beganon  Monday. We met Miss Khanh-Duc Kuttig, who made an introduction, then we went for a walk around the campus and we visited the library.

After lunch, (pasta bolognese... yeah... I agree, it's typically English....), we met Jonathan for a Lecture who talked about the British student life on campus for the Erasmus. So he told us about his own experience in Germany. It was very funny.

In the afternoon, we went to town with the UniBus, I bought an English telephone (or natel comme les suisses disent ^^) because it's easier for me to keep in touch with the others Erasmus students, to make an appointment, to locate classroom "Au secours, qu'est ce que c'est cette salle à 3 lettres et 1 chiffre, je suis perdue dans le campus venez me chercher.". Then we had a drink in a pub and went to TESCO's to buy food because in pub it was expensive for students... Enfin moi je serais bien restée mais j'ai suivie...

9.00PM 

Nous avons attendu un bus près d'une demi heure parceque les Term Time n'ont pas encore commencé, puis
