Cambridge

The following day we arrived at Cambridge around 11am.
A wonderful sun welcomed us.

Petite pensée pour ma Maman.
[oui, les gazons et Maman c'est une véritable histoire d'amour]
Attention à la crotte mal placée, et enjoy the sun!!!

Cambridge is the same kind of town than Oxford, with Colleges, students (of course!) and... if there are students....there are..... BIKES! yes! ^^
Three Kent students take pictures in a college while there are students who live inside and who have to put up with tourists.... I can't imagine this situation in Canterbury or in Montpellier... You are working and people are taking pictures of your room or dining room or class room.... It seems to be so stupid but it's what we did the whole week-end! haha

I think that I am fascinated by ducks [or geese... do you remember?] It seems that I was more afraid than the duck... Yes because the duck 'thought' that my finger was a worm... Anyway... which one seems to be the more stupid....[???]

Trinity College!

I really love these both pictures [don't worry, I am not patting me on the back (s'envoyer des fleurs héhé)] I don't know I like the colours, and the place! It is one of the most prestigious place in Cambridge besides we stayed inside about one hour... It was a college founded by Henry VIII in1546, this is the Great Court!

Then we walked to King's College another big and famous college in Cambridge....

 'Oh?! What am I hearing?'
I look up to a tree... helping by Camille, we find it!

A wonderful NIGHTINGALE!!!

So happy to look at it.
So tiny, but so powerful.
Its red throat lets pass this amazing song,
which gives me thrills!!!

Here we are! After a long walk, we can see King's College, but we can't go inside because it was on Sunday, I think... It is a nice college, even if I prefered Oxford. It is not the same architecture: in Oxford, there are more ornaments, it's more prestigious. Cambridge has less finishing. It was a good experience to compare in the same week-end these both towns. We had fun and sun, so it was a great week end!

Yes, a man in a bin, was playing guitar....
Interesting.
It shouldn't be easy....
But very funny hahaha

Cold and exhausted, it's time to return to the coach.
Problem...
It is dark, and we have some difficulties to find our way.
However, we find the magic trolley!!!

Go, Go, Go!

YES! we've got it!

Back to Canterbury....

Camille and Jochen, thanks for this week-end! =)

See you soon,

Love
